Wow, the Boss 302 comes with 3 keys.. But, ford only tells your about two and issues your new Boss with 2 key... The new key is called "AWESOME KEY" nice...

The Green Key is not legal in California??? Inquiring minds want to know..:)

    Here are some track data
There's a cool Boss 302 1/4 mile drag test in the latest (Sept. 2011) issue of MM&FF. Ford loaned them a beautiful Competition Orange model with Recaros and Torsen differential. All runs were made by Evan Smith with M/T ET Street tires and with the "red" key only. They didn't test with the stock tires. :( And didn't try the Green Key
They made the following 5 runs:
    12.421/110.87
    12.079/113.93
    12.172/113.40
    12.084/114.03
    12.214/114.06
For comparison, here are MM&FF's best times for Shelbys.
    2007 GT500 (Aug.2006) - 12.257 @ 117.18 on stock tires
    2008 GT500KR (Sept. 2008) - 11.928 @ 120.77 on stock tires and 11.58 @ 122 with M/T ET Street tires
    2007 (725 hp) GT500 Super Snake (Feb. 2009) - 10.870 @ 134.14 with M/T ET Street tires
    2010 GT500 (Oct. 2009) - 11.951 @ 120.29 on stock tires and 11.592 @ 118.45 with M/T ET Street tires
    2011 GT500 (Oct. 2010) - 12.02 @ 119 on stock tires
    2011 (624 hp) GT350 - 11.62 @ 122 with stock tires

green key? didnt read anything about a green key. but i did some reading and heard of detonation issues with the red key on certain cars. not all. ford is apparantly working it. its an awesome idea, almost like two cars in 1.
