1986 5.0 GT Limited Edition

Does anyone know how to find out anything about how many of these were made and if they are infact limited?

you know what maybe it is limited, the book only shows that 224,410 were sold. 106720 lx's(notches)and 117,690 lx's (hatches)...but no gt's

you know i tried to google limited edition 86 mustangs, and all i could find were the numbers produced for the gt's-50,465. GT Hatchbacks: 40,578
GT Convertibles: 9,887

I have done some research on the internet myself, I so far have been unsuccessful finding anything about the Lim Ed mustangs. I have only seen 1 other one ever and only a handful of the limited ed pickups ford used to sell. My reason is that i am looking to change some things on it and wouldnt want to change it if it is in fact rare.

yeah, the one that keeps coming up is the 7up 90 mustang. i will still keep trying to figure it out, can you give me the vin, maybe something will come up

i have heard about the 7up stangs. were they real. someone on craigslist was trying to sell one, but everyone said he was full of sh**.

I doubt is a limited edition because it has manual windows etc but could be wrong.
