<div>One of the most anticipated cars of 2011 is without a doubt the new Mustang GT. With horsepower being bumped up to 412 ponies and 390 ft-lbs of torque on tap, it will be a much tougher competitor for the Camaro. While Ford is also promising an unparalleled amount of customization, we are just now getting an idea of just how much customizing there will be.<br />

This <a href="http://www.mustangheaven.com/info/2011MustangOrderGuide-US.pdf" target="_blank">leaked order guide</a> found by the sleuths over at <a href="http://www.mustangheaven.com" target="_blank">MustangHeaven</a> gives insight into both the special editions, as well as the many pages of ordering options available for the 2011 ‘Stang. <br />

For example, we now know that the <a href="http://www.brembo.com/" target="_blank">Brembo Brake Package</a> will come with 14” rotors up front and 11.8” rotors out back and 4-piston calipers. 19” “Dark Stainless” paint wheels will also come with the package, probably to better show off the brake package. Speaking of wheels, even the V6 Mustang will come with 17” aluminum wheels, rather than hubcaps as past Mustangs have.<br />

The V6 Mustang will come stock with a 2.73:1 gear ratio (which is how they get the 30 mpg rating), though an optional 3.31:1 ratio will be available to help motivate the 305 horsepower V6 pony car. The California Special package will only be available on GT cars, and you can order gear ratios as high as 3.71:1 on GT Mustangs equipped with the six-speed manual transmission (sorry slushbox guys). There are also six different wheel options (nine if you include those limited to the Mustang Club, California Special, or Brembo Brake packages). There are also stripes, interior accruements, and lots of other information to pour over, so make sure you check it out. <br />
