What kind of time improvement could I see from installing 4.10s? I run consistant 8.3s in the 8th but I wanna get down to at least 8.0s on motor.

I am sure they would help. What do you have now?

Best price I found on them was from LCR

It's difficult to equate gears to ET. If you can get traction??? and I do mean if, you will cut a couple tenths off of your time. With your car, your rear suspension is hurting you more then gears. I would work on getting more traction control first and then look at purchasing some gears at a later time.

If you haven't done the LCA's and upper control arm, you are going to get wheel hop from hell with those 4.10's. I would invest in the rear suspension first before the gears and a good set of D/r's after the gears are in but that's my opinion. good luck.

i'm on 315 Nitto DR's now and it hooks really well..... i've done consistant 1.8 60 ft at race legal and Barona. wheel hop was an issue with street tires but haven't had that problem with the DRs...

LCA's are coming in the near future

my best 1/8th with the stock 3.55s and bolt ons (308rwhp and 326rwhp) i went 8.2@83mph and 13.2@104mph on the 1/4 ..nitto DR's 305/35/18... 1.8 60fts ,4,200 launch and shifting at 6,500

after switching to 4.10s and M/T e.t street drag tires.
i went 8.09@84mph and 12.8@106mph 1.7 60fts, 5,000 launch and also shifting at 6,500

i gained about 1 1/2 tenths and a mile on the 1/8th and 4 tenths and 2 miles on the 1/4

you'll feel a huge difference at track with the 4.10s.
