curious, would that whole Lincoln rear end diff bolt on to the Fox? Seems easier to just swap rear ends than to pull out axles and get the brake system swaped.

Do you really want to deal with wheels rubbing though? Isn't that the issue with the lincoln rear in a fox? Why not just get the range axles? Are you going to roll your fenders?

Due to the wheel size of the wheels I'm picking up soon, I will be doing the ranger/aerostar axle swap.

Question for those who may know......

Is the 5 lug axle and drum all I will need? Do I have to swap the backing plate, brake cylinder and shoes?

From what I've read, all I should need is the axles and drums......is that correct?

I had a lincoln rear set up of my car for about 3 years. I removed it because I kept tearing up tires. I had to cut the lip off and still had problems. I now run the ranger axles with the pbr brakes. With the ranger axle you can run a 10" wheel. I still have the lincoln rear set up if anyone wants it. just come and get it.

A HUGE THANK YOU to James (jj89gt). He generously provided the rear 5 lug setup I needed. I have the front and now this completes the swap.

THANKS JAMES!!! :hello:
