Hello to all from AMD Detailing..

Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself, offer my services and make myself available to any question anyone might have. Ive been detailing professionally for close to 4 years but have been doing it as hobby for close to 10. We have regular clients with everything from Honda Accords to Rolls Royce Phantoms, Eliminator Boats to Monaco Coach Motorhomes and everything in between.

We do everything from $25.00 washes to complete interior and exterior surface restorations. Some of our most popular services include; wash & waxes, cut & polishing, clay bar process, steam cleaning, engine detailing & headlight restorations.

Im sure many of you out there are the "do it yourselfers" so I wanted to offer my opinion or suggestions to anyone not sure or looking for some pointers.

My highest regaurds to Emelio and the rest of the Wicked Stangs Community!

I might be interested in a full exterior detail, I'd do it myself but I dont have access to water or power. What would you charge for a full exterior paint detail..clay..polish..seal..wax? I have a white 2004 mustang, light swirls and other defects from being outside alot.

As far as the swirls are concerned it really depends on how many and how deep the swirls are in the clear. The severity of the swirls would determine how much "cut" or compounding it would require. I normally use a high-speed/rotary buffer with a medium to heavy cut pad to buff out any inconsistencies (swirls, scrathes, etc.) Then go over it again with light polish pad and wax for the final finish.

And no problem, dont hesitate in asking!!

Boosted,

Whens the last time your mustang was clayed and in what part of town are you located?

A Clay Job & a 2 Stage Buff & Wax will run between $75.00-$115.00 depending on the oxidation, scratches and so forth that would need to be removed.

2 Stage Buff & Wax -
Restores moderately scratched, sun burned, swirled & dull paint back to its original deep glossy finish. The vehicle is first thoroughly washed to remove any dirt, grease, bird droppings, etc. Next any scratches, scrapes or scuffs are removed with either compound or by color sanding. Once the vehicles surface is fully prepared the machine buffing begins.

Stage 1 - Includes a high speed buff applied with the use of the appropriate combination of polishing pad and polishing compound to remove the heavier damage and inconsistencies to the vehicles paint job.

Stage 2 - Includes finishing wax/sealant applied with an orbital buffer to remove any remaining inconsistencies to the vehicles paint job and to provide a protective coat from not only harmful UV rays but other harmful elements such as the acidity of bird droppings or tree sap.

All residue is carefully removed from all cracks, crevices and logos. Tires, wheel wells and all applicable trim is dressed in order to protect from UV and to restore original shine.

I just need a few parking spaces to be able to open your doors freely and at least a days notice. And again I stand by all my work to make sure my clients are always more than satisfied.
