Anyone have a Computer to read ABS light?

My 99 Cobra is throwing an ABS light. The Autoshop on Miramar could not read it. Want to avoid paying a high price to simply read a code. Anyone have one I could use for free or short money?

Have you changed your gears or anything? How long has the light been on? There is a small sensor on your back and front brakes that is magnetic and collects quite the large amount of metal. I would clean them off and see if that helps.

I saw the sensors there. I think i need a six point socket maybe 7mm? I should probably just buy one and try that first huh?

unsure of the size though and has to be six point I believe

Yeah they take a wierd socket but the hobby shop has them. I have never seen one of those sensors go bad but I have seen them not work because of the build up. I clean mine off every time I change brakes.

Researched a little more on the tool needed. I believe it is an E7 Female Torx socket? Have a set on sale for $15 on ebay. Not sure I want to spend time, money and go to hobby shop when for $15.00 can do it from home.

they should even have a torx socket at autozone for like 3 bucks.

I need the female Torx sockets which "accepts" the screw inside much like a standard socket except a nut. The "male" torx are the ones that look like a screwdriver bit. I will look at Kragen because I need some other stuff anyways. thanks
