does anyone know what the box with all the wires going into it on the inside of the passenger side fender well is? and why it would be buzzing and stopping the car from starting?

its for Fangs99's '99 Cobra, its not like an alarm buzzing, its an electrical buzzing, and its a factory component from what i understand

I know what box your talking about. I dont know what its called...ECU or something. But I had to move mine when I opened up the fender for my powerpipe.

ECU controls pretty much everything, thats why its called the electrical control unit, i thought the ecu was behind the passenger side kick panel though

the PCM is in the kick panel that other piece is a relay of some type the wires that are shown on the diagram are not going to. your IGN coils are wired directly to the PCM not to the thing in your fender

ford doesn't always have the smartest tech's nor do they always know what the hell your talking about

Rob and I definitely know that!!! We had gone to Drew Ford in Kearny Mesa, and when we asked the operations manager of the service department about the fog lights for my car...he came over to look at my car and asked..."Who painted your car???" I mean OMG!!! Does he not pay attention to his inventory?

They had a 2010 grabber blue on the carousel our front!!!!!

i went to a local ford dealer here and i was told that it could be a grounding issue.
the thing is the the wireing plug is bolted into this box so it is most likey to be loose.
where are all the grounding points on these cars? any near the trans? we just did a clutch job on sat. i can't post pics no camera or computer yet.

I think my prob is the CCRM. I was told by a ford tech ( take that for what it's worth)
that the buzzing is usualy a loose grounding issue.

yes correct it is ithe ccrm (continuous control relay module)

controls the fuel pump electric fan and 2 other things can remember off the top of my head... the buzzing is a relay being over energized... it could be a ground...
