"We've been making vehicles with Ford engines go faster since 1962," said Shelby. "That includes street cars and vehicles used in every kind of motorsport. For the first time, Shelby Engines will take all of that accumulated knowledge and put it to work for individual Ford owners who want to move to the front of the pack." <br />

Their expertise lies in a history of working with the Ford 351 Windsor small block and the Ford “FE” big block V8 engines. The company headquarters, located in Gardena, CA, will be taking in a limited number of customers. To be clear, Shelby will only be taking in motors, not entire cars. <br />
<br />
Every engine rebuilt by the company will be granted an official “Rebuilt by Carroll Shelby Engine Company” plaque, which can be placed in the engine bay. Customers looking to tune their cars will be given an official certification sheet signed by Carroll Shelby, verifying their vehicle's dyno numbers. <br />
