OK, so my car really doesnt have much done to it, but cause of the lean codes coming on Steve put my car on the dyno to see where it is before cams and gears, and what the air fuel is at.

WOW, Phil had a cold air intake and diablo tune with JBA exhaust and put down 293 HP.... Cant remember torque...


Correct me if im wrong but isnt a 11.5 A/F RICH???

He has better gears than me and the 5speed transfers HP better.

Yes we riched it up a little, 11.5 is good for N/A . Thats why we are not worried bout it still giving me lean codes. You can go as low as 10.0 A/F. Thats another reason for a little lower than I thought. I thought it would be an even 300.

I think i have more now Andy. I am going to get that Motion charger Delete, x-pipe maybe, and new drive shaft this next week. we will see. def going for motion charger delete, and drive shaft.

Thats why i thought it was weird.... You put down more power with less MODS and higher gears and automatic trans....

they say that each mustang is diffrent though..some put out alot stock and some go as low as 255- 260 just depends on car. i am over 300hp now i am sure

Sorry Phil to say this after you got it, but the diablo Tuners are crap with the 05-07 Mustangs. Andy did you see the Black 05 with the Rousch sticker on the window? We got him to change from Diablo to SCT this week and his hp went from 266 to 325 at the wheels. He picked it up last night and he got a little wet after lol.

Just a customer that has become buddies. I saw your Mach, I dont know what hes done yet, but the hood is up and its in the shop,lol. I know Jaysons car took 2 days longer than he expected. Its taken almost all his time this week. The only reason I got the fuel filter done was cause it was sending lean codes. It was over 90% blocked.

as for 11.5 being to rich no thats dead on what you want your AFR to be. Your goal should be to get it as close as 12 as possible not not over. If you go over 12 with forced induction or not you are putting a strain on your motor and giving your self a better chance for detonation.

As for the diablo tuner. The SCT tunes cover up soooo much more. Unless you have a custom diablo dyno tune i dont see you making that much power. Putting your car on the dyno is the only real way to get that baby tuned to run. There is so much that can be done and sense every car is different can tunes are junk in my opinion. O who ever has the Mach 1 yeah sorry my car took a little longer to get running lol then we thought. But its going now you guys should make it to fresno some time. I cruise every night on the weekends last night we had a 347 stroked 5.0, two terminators, 383 stroked z28, z06 and my car cruising i raced a suizuki and smoked the street bike. it was fun the guy on the bike wasnt to happy to get pulled by a guy with 20 inch wheels

I told him not to worry about rushing the mach1, I wont have the money until next week and im going to have him done couple more things if everything goes well...

I will let you know what it looks like this week andy. Maybe walk by and kick it or something lol I am kidding... hopefully he has time to get mine in..I want to get this throttle body issue out of wayonce and for all..and a few more goddies... Cant wait for the guys to get back off deployment and take there cars up there for mods. I am sure Dustin will want to mod... his Mach. Just keep him posted on what you have done and what works and dont so that he dont have to go by trial and error. If Joe would have offered me a decent rpice for my tuner his car would be running a little better now and I have a SCt tune. I am going to ask steve what he can do with my tuner I have. Maybe go in and tweak a little. If not I am going to go on a hunt for a place to tune it who uses diablo. I think maybe better in long run for my wallet. If I have to i will get a hold of Emilio when I run to San Diego to look at houses. I think he runs a diablo tune on his car ..If not i am sure he know a shop that will tune mine.

I'm not sure where you guys are getting your info, but on a supercharged car you want A/F to be in the 11.0-11.5 area and N/A cars should be in the 12.5-13.0. As for all cars being different yes they are, but one thing is for sure the stick car with the same mods will make more power on a chassis dyno. I suspect these numbers are not SAE corrrected.

11.5 is rich on a N/A car.

Orange395 the dyno that we used here in central valley was one that is used by trucks mostly so may not have been dialed in right. i am going to do another dyno run on same dyno as devilspawn soon. i will post numbers then. The shop we used has since been added to the stay away list lol. Machman had some issues with them not covering there labor or work.
