Engine uncertainty

I drive a 2000 V6 Faleen Mustang and not too long ago I was shown a '07 GT 3v V8 engine for sale that a buddy of mine had seen in one of the threads on the sight. The engine came with everything! Tranny, necessary electronic connections etc. I have been told that it MIGHT work in my stang. I was wondering if anyone else had any in sight as to whether this transformation would be possible?

It's really hard, if only because you are going to cable driven, to electronic almost everything. I don't know if anybody has tried yet, I would look it up for other people who have done it before I go any farther.

you could always install an aftermarket ecu... dunno how the whole variable cam timing works yet but i'm sure it could be done.

if the 3v uses a non electrical way ( IE Mechanical way that needs no changes via ECU ) then it could definatly be done fairly easily. you could swap out the throttle body with a cable driven one ( probably take a little fabbing ) it would be a fairly straight forward swap to be totally honest >=)

sounds like a project
