This link is how you can see if you dns is good. (The dns is a virtual map used to allow your computer to find the internet provider/connection) By clicking on this link, you can find out if any malware has interfered with it. This link is a US Federally run system site, so no worries. If your good then it should say "DNS Resolution = Green" I hope this helps relieve some of the worries!
