on 25Sep Fighting Sailor had GT500 Brembo front brakes installed, as well as 20" Shelby Razors earlier this week.

Very sweet look and I'm sure he's got much better grip

Looks great I love those rims! S197's need better brakes too.

The only downer is the HP loss from going to the 20's. Other than that, what an upgrade!!!

Thanks y'all, and special thanks to Tom. I am really stoked about the new stuff.. I few more mods and that car will be perfect (for me). I plan to go with a billet strut tower brace and carbon fiber splitter next..
Doh! now I need to change my signature pic...

Did you actually notice a difference while braking?

It's subtle but I do notice a difference, I haven't pushed it very hard yet.
I have noticed a difference when I launch, she seems to take off quicker.
The biggest difference is She has loads of grip while cornering, stays very flat in the turns and I have to punch it harder if I want the rear to kick out.
I wanna do an Autocross now:rock:

Just wait when You start to hot lap on a road course, or hell, even hit the brakes hard a few times on the interstate.

I had to go with better rotors, dot5, and SS lines to get my brakes up to par. Wish i had the $$ to put a big rotor/caliper setup on my ride.

You bring up a couple very good points. With my old set up my brakes cooked after 4 or 5 turns at high speed (dont ask..) I am thinking of going with Baer rotors and an agent 47 cooling duct kit. Next performance mod will probably be the agent 47 kit.
