Finally got my orders

Some of you might remember me bitching about my orders getting moved up by 3 months, then cancelled. Well, i finally have another set(90 days till i am due to leave asw). However now i am not leaving asw until april. But, im still going to everett, so i can't bitch to much

I am sorry you are going to Everett. I didnt like it there. I worked for your CPO as a STG1. He is the reason I am a CPO. Great guy and very political. He will set you up to succeed. Everything you do on a PNW ship is done down here in San Diego. It is a PIA. I just got done teaching your current ASWO. He wont be the ASWO by the time you get there though. He was good. Everett is decent if you like the outdors.

They have awesome food and the owner has a classic and a Fox Body Saleen. He gives raffles and discounts during the cruise in. The SVT Performance guys are very active in that area.

no, i am not in a school. I was originally going through the sonar supervisor course for the newest of the new sonars. then my ship was cancelled from the list of ships getting it, so now i am going through sonar supervisor for the sonar it already has. I'm an STG1.

I wouldn't say i liked it there, but i didnt mind it. I was on the ford from 01-05. I tried to avoid going back, but the detailer doesnt want to move my family down here. See after i left everett i moved to the other side of the state and did 4 years on recruiting

I am assuming you are talking about Chief Post? I met him briefly and i am trying to get a hold of him to find out when the ship leaves(i heard rumors its right as i get there.... :nonono
I like that you think he will set me up to succeed. Between these classes and a little quality time on the boat i hope to pick up chief in the next year or 2(i am about to hit 10 years in, and this was january will be my second attempt)

See it was odd, on the ford we only came to san diego like 3 or 4 times in the 4 years i was on it, not counting deployment stops to pick up the air wing.
