Emilio, it's not about you and Monica. You have put a lot of hard cash, sweat, blood and tears into this car. It's up to us, as club memebers (all of us) to make this happen. Next payday, I request that you reach into your pockets and contribute $20 to make this happen.

We are a stong club with many members. I know that times are tough and $20 can mean the difference for many of us. But if you can afford to assist the club, we deeply appreciate a small but huge donation.

I know that I have personally asked for your donations in the past, but the car on track is living proof that we will put it to good use. Do what you can because all you can do is good enough. Thanks for your continued support and happy drag racing.

I cannot be prouder of this club and the accomplishments we have had over the last year. Thank you Emilio, Monica, Orange, Phil, James and Beejay....I know I have left a few out...but you guys made me believe that anything is possible.

DRAG ON!!!!

We should seriously come up with a compiled video and magazine article and then try to get a converter company to sponser us. The TCI stuff is crap from the research I have done for my own car.

Do we have such an article? We could possibly write an article and then burn a DVD to send to converter companies. I just spent a pretty Penny with a certain converter company and I may be able to talk to them this coming week.

If we want a custom converter we need to get the car to a weigh station. Weight of the vehicle is a very important aspect of building a converter. There is a weigh station just 2 blocks away from my house.

Ya know I could not agree with you more on this subject. It seems to me though that the only ones throwing money at the car/site/things needed, are the same ones over and over. I agree that throwing 20 bucks in would be easy for most of us but there are many that are hurting right now. Look how long it has taken just to get 300 together for the fender roller! We need to do something to get sponsored or make them chip in more on things. That will take some of the brunt off of our members. I am not trying so sound negative but too much asking for money from members tends to push them away!!!

Yose, I agree with you on this. Unfortunately, I'm one of those that is hurting right now financially. I can't help out the club monetary as I could in the past as I no longer have any disposable income. But if we can get more sponsor to step up with monetary contribution or parts, that would help tremendously.

And its not sounding negative...Its just reality.

I feel for you Danny and you are not the only one in a bind. There are quite a few on here that would love to donate but just dont have the funds. Most will donate in other ways like usage of trailers, working on the car, setting up events, and all. To have a race car is very expensive and that is the bottom line. We have sponsors that have donated parts to the car and I applaud them for it. Now it seems like we need monetary sponsors. Maybe those who dont make parts but would like their names on the car. Just my .02 is all.

I've donated money here and there, nothing major. but as mentioned above I have provided free trailer usage/towing and wrench time on the car, all without seeking recognition.

In these days, one service in exchange for another can go a long way. Who knows? Maybe time in exchange for parts? An electrician providing another member services for auto repairs? A PC repair man , a landscape business owner, a graphics design artist...etc.

The list goes on and on. There's always something we can use and someone else that can benefit from what we can provide.

I can proudly say that we have some awesome members, who in exchange for my trailer services, either provided a great deal on parts or free parts. And with a project here and there, it adds up!

There's always something that can be arranged to help each other.

You guys know that I am always available to help out anyone that I can. We need to find a sugar daddy for the race car. Tom you are level 7 donation status. You have given plenty in my book.
