TJ did he stay with Diablo or did he go with SCT? If Steve will tune my car I am all for it with my Diablo. I never came right out and asked he just said that he prefers SCT.

tHE DIABLOS DONTLET YOU REALLY TUNE ANYTHING. jUST PRESET PERMAITERS THAT GET PUT INTO THE TUNER BY THE PARTS YOU INSTALL. hE IS AN sct DEALER SO HE DOESNT HAVE DIABLO SOFTWARE. THE ONLY REASON HE COULD DO ANYTHING TO PAULS WAS CAUSE OF THE BLOWER AND THE ONLY THING HE COULD DO IS FIX THE AFR. NOT TUNING IT.

sORR DUDE DIDNT MEAN TO KILL YOUR DREAMS,LOL J/K BUT SERIOUSLY THE DIABLOS MAKE YOU GET PRETUNED STUFF AND THOSE MIGHT GIVE YOU A LITTLE WORKING ROOM BUT NOT MUCH.

Devilspawn what exactly are you talking about. Both tuners only allow you to adjust perimeters unless you buy the software which last time I talked to SCT and Diablo sport they were only selling them to business that have dynos installed in there shops. Unless you actually have the software both tuners do the samething. Know, if you want to talk about the difference of the Hand Held Tuners then there are differences.

Correct if you have the laptop software you can do tunes for the Diablo. Steve doesnt have the Diablo Software. Like Pauls Diablo had only the tune for the Paxton on it. It had minimal things you could adjust for it. I dont know if it would let him mess with timing or not, but he wasnt trying to do that at the time, just getting the AFR correct. When Paxton gave him the car back it was Super lean and they never put it on the dyno to check. It was at 16.5%.

Yes, to me TJ it seemed somthing was off. He didn't seem to concerned over it though. I personaly was behind him so I wasreally choking on his fumes..

Black Smoke: Black smoke is caused by excess fuel that has entered the cylinder area and cannot be burned completely. Another term for excess fuel is "running rich." Poor fuel mileage is also a common complaint when black smoke comes out of the tailpipe. Black smoke out the tailpipe is the least cause for alarm. Excess fuel will usually effect engine performance, reduce fuel economy, and produce a fuel odor.

This also mean he still has more power potential... with the right tuner...

YEAH BLACK SMOKE IS NO PROBLEM. ITS JUST RICH, BUT HE DOESNT WANT THE MOTOR TO GO POP SINCE HE IS STILL ON STOCK INTERNALS. RATHER HIM BE RICH AND NOT LEAN.hE HAD SOME STUFF DONE SINCE WE DID THE AFR AS WELL SO IT COULD HAVE ALSO CAUSED IT RUN A LITTLE RICH AS WELL.
