Guys here is some good info before you take your car to get tuned. Tuning is farely simple but, if the technician has to stop and help fix all your problems, it takes time and money.
Make sure your vehicle is mechanically tuned up prior to your tuning appointment day (change spark plugs, engine oil and fuel filter, check all fluid levels and the condition of the fluids, check the condition of your plug wires/boots and all other related ignition components). Please make sure all wiring is sound and all connections are tight along with all the engine sensors working properly (factory ECU customers -No check engine lights). Check and fully inflate all tires to their recommended tire pressures (drag radials and slicks are not recommended on all dynos). Please make sure all of your lug nuts are tight and at proper torque specs. A full compression test is also a good idea. Very low or irregular compression between cylinders or excessive oil smoking engines will Not be tuned.
Basically, we want you to have your vehicle in as good as shape as possible prior to your appointment. We want to make sure that your vehicle lives a long and happy life.
