GT 2v Dyno numbers from bob kurgan

Great results!

2003 GT

V1 Vortech with 3.33 Pulley
CX Racing 3" Air to Air Intercooler
2003 PI Romeo 4.6
VT Stage II N/A cams and Nextek Springs
75mm Plenum and TB
LTs full exhaust

443 rwhp and 397ftlbs at 9.1lbs of Boost

Cams pulled up top and didnt stop, motor would have kept making power. Bob is the ####ing man for sure! No one should go anywhere else but Bob for there tuning he is the real deal.

good numbers out of a 2V... thought the 2v guys could use this as a refference to there setups..

360's before he added a few degree's of timing after the tune.

he also doesn't have any thing but stock cams. which is really hurting. so all in all i'd say he's right on track.

if he picks up 80hp off of timing, i want him to time my next car. but hes prolly 370s 380s which is still pretty good. 443 with a stock shortblock is impressive. i heard after 430hp 2vs are on borrowed time though....

My set up isnt at 430 its closer to 360ish, a/f is at 10.8 with 17 degrees of timming, i think im going add cms blower cams and turn up the boost when the block goes in and add an intercooler with the set up, 430 to the wheels is about max that is said for the engines...im hoping to make in area of 500 to the wheels with boost, ic, and cams....

its possible, prolly have to upgrade your fuel system, i know that was repeatedly brought up by emerson when i started contemplating chasing down 500hp

i think your 10.8 a/f is to rich... and i think you should have closer to 20 degrees total timing...

but thats just me

oh wait... aren't you running 14lbs f boost and a meth kit to make 360ish?

why would you pay for a tune thehn change the timing?

the pulley that is on it right now is a 3.4 pulley which will make 10 psi, im going to run the meth kit in tandum with an intercooler so i can run more timming then with one or the other, i never said that i was going to put a pulley to make 14 psi, that is crazy for these stock short blocks, now with the MMR im gonna try and run 15 psi with that set up i mentioned with a set of cams....
