Any shop local that does a quality port job/larger valves on C heads, I know it isn't necessary but I might as well while I am putting together a engine.

I was told port work on the 4 V heads was pointless. Same way as headers. Any truth to this??????

ya know someone on this forum told me the same thing!!! but every one that i talk to says the same thing to me!! there is absolutely no truth to that!! more, freer flowing air, is always better regardless!! and i can tell you for sure that headers definately make the differance!! my butt dyno knows!!!

my cobra picked up 40 whp on same boost level going from manis to long tubes. But there is alittle truth to the forced induction cars, with a n/a setup headflow is everything,on a boosted app its not as kritical because the air is being forced in so headflow isnt as big of a factor.Yes you can still benifit from it but not as much as a n/a car will.

exactly, i would say its more about efficiancy on a boosted set up!! but at the same time it still does help,,,,,,,,,,,,, just not as jarasticly as a n/a set up like elky said!!
