Your Mustang On-Board Diagnostic II (OBD-II) Diagnostic Link Connector (DLC) is located on the driver side under the dash.

Here is a picture of a 2009 SHELBY GT500 :)

Under the Commands Tab click on Get Vehicle Processor ID

The below image should pop up on your computer. Remember the last Thread about PID's were discussed a bit.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you are looking at the 5 digit strategy code and not the Processor code when you use Live Link. The 5 digit strategy code FBMR0 denotes a family of codes, live link only needs to know the family to come up with valid PIDs and DMRs for datalogging.

NOTE: Why are some PID's in CAPITAL LETTERS?
Those are DMRs (Direct Memory Read) some paramaters are in capital letters and respond a little quicker than the lower case options.

Here are all my PID's that poped up..

For explaning purposes I only choose 3 PIDs:
BATTERY VOLTAGE
MAF VOLTS
RPM

After I choose the PID's to Datalog, I went back to the COMMAN TAB and clicked on Configure Datalog Items.

Once you click on Configure Datalog Items your screen should look like this.

Note: If everything is connected properly your SCT should display this screen

Next turn on your car and get ready to datalog. Click the Green Record Button and everything will begin.

Something new I noticed was it gives your a Value Min Max and Avg.. Which is nice when converting over to a Graph which I will cover at a later time.

Part 3 of 3 will post some important PID's and will show you how to dicipher them using EXCEL in beautiful graph forms

I am planning on doing a Part 4 on the Installation of LM-2 and how to datalog Air/Fuel and inputing the signal into your SCT to datalog..
