Important information for military parents

Navy Region Southwest School Liaison Program and San Diego Unified School District are partnering to bring you a Back to School Enrollment fair on Thursday, August 20th from 3:30 to 6:30 at Farb Middle School in Murphy Canyon. San Diego Unified personnel will be on hand and allowing military families to enroll in the San Diego Unified School District. In addition, there will over 30 resources and organizations there to provide information about support services available through the school district, community and the Navy. We will also be conducting parent information sessions on Kinder Readiness and Transition, and Setting Up for School Year Success.

Information will be available about: transportation, enrollment options (several magnet and charter schools will be there), free and reduced lunch, before and after school programs, JROTC, pre-school, home daycare and much more! Join us for an evening of information and fun! Entertainment will be provided by the Navy Region Southwest Rock Band, and food will be available for purchase. Any military may attend, however, you may not enroll in school unless you live in the San Diego Unified School District Boundaries. If you plan to enroll, please bring 2 proofs of residency, current shot record, birth certificate, and the child's last report card.
