wow... that probably wasn't just the clutch, that was probably the entire flywheel also. in which from the setup of the car he would have had to also have a scatter shield around the bellhousing ( required by NHRA after some odd second ) SO. doubt he was seriously injured but i'm sure it scared the **** out of him
