Meetings Idea!!!

Well, we have to make a decision on this one... As I see it, here is were we stand right now:
Most people would like to have the meeting on a Fri so that we will have max participation which is what we want.
The down side to that is that Fri meetings could conflict with certain events. Yes we could hold the meetings at the events if need be. But then we may have people showing up to Chili's waiting to meet up with a club that is not going to show up... (not everyone uses the forums). I think that would be unacceptable. Especially when 1st impressions are everything.
Heres a thought that might make everyone happy....
No dues meet on the 1st and 3rd Fri correct? Lets meet on the 2nd Wed or Thurs of the month at Chili's whether 2 show up or 52 show up. Then on the 4th Fri or Sat we can meet again at Chilli's are where ever you all want to.... I think that plan should make most if not everyone happy...

What do you all think?????

they only thing i dont understand... is if they don't use the forum... and the vehicle gets carded... they arent going to know about the meetings anyways... but lets vote on this idea... everyone down for this say I!!

Thats why it has to be at the same time same place no matter what. That way whether it be by word of mouth or by the forums or what ever, if someone wants to know how to join or meet with us all someone has to say is "they meet on the 2nd Wed every month at chilli's 630pm". With all the different cruise nights, car shows, race events we do that meeting day would be the one constant sure thing. And like I said before, even if its only 2 people that show up one month we would still be there...

Also if there car get carded, hopefully they would call me.... But you might be on to something there! I will have to look into putting the meeting time and location on the next batch of cards.. But, we have to agree on a day, time, etc.. and keep it that way. I dont want to hand out a bunch of cards with bad info on them.

what does it matter if its the 1st or 2nd weds? its still a wed. should jsut keep it the 1st of the month so we dont confuse people.

But if you change it to the 1st friday, we can just go to NO DUES First, then hit up chillis after. thats my opinion.
