<div>No tire manufacturer has supported grassroots heads-up racing more than Mickey Thompson. In the Mickey Thompson PRI booth their new P295/55/15 ET Street Radial was front and center in the display. The tire is a TRUE 28”x10” drag radial that Mickey Thompson’s Carl Robinson said there had been a huge demand for, and after seeing the tire we now know why. <br />

The tire allows classic muscle car owners to run the widest drag radial without having to mini-tub or alter the wheel well. When a muscle car owner has invested thousands of dollars in his classic Mustang, Chevelle or Corvette, its tough to start trimming floor pans or quarter panels just to fit a drag radial for a weekend warrior.<br />

The compound and tire construction offers good bite and the racer can make hundreds of runs on the tire. The tires are perfect for the street driven muscle car owners that wants the hook of a drag radial. In addition to tires, Mickey Thompson has their Pro-5 wheel for Drag Racing on display. This year the wheel was on the majority of the ADRL Xtreme Ten Five cars including Mickey Thompson’s test pilot Billy Glidden. The wheel is a forged and CNC machined one piece wheel with a bead lock system. The wheel has proven to be so popular they are expanding sizes to include 15x8,15x10,15x12,15x14,and 15x15 sizes in various back spacing sizes.<br />

The Pro-5 wheel featuring styling cues from the original Mickey Thompson wheel sold in the 1960's and look great on the street or strip. The polished wheels have surpassed all 15.1 S.F.I. test specifications and are the lightest S.F.I. Certified Drag wheels in the world. <br />
