I was just reading a article the other day in Mod MUS mag how people go out and by 500HP cars to drive on street and cant control them. It is and I believe alot diffrent when you start with say a stock mustang and build it with bolt on's getting use to the power before putting in alot of engine work or a big power adder like turbo or super charger. Just my opinion. well If I had a GT500 I probaly add a diffrent pully some exhaust, headers, oh was I dreaming again...
Thats really sad, the car can get really squirley if your not careful, even with the traction control on. I need to get out to willow springs to get a better feel for my car.
I seen one the other night at Famoso and he was only running in 13's with the car I believe. Maybe was high 12's I think the car should be faster than that though..
i remember when i got my car i pushed the traction control button and peeled out and lost it in a lil shopping center, jumped the curb and ran strait into a fire hydren, it costedm me 3900 bucks to fix my ride, man i was soo depressed, and so embarresed that i blamed it on the gas gettin stuck, haha damn that was a shitty day. but its true they can get away from you, i didnt realize how much of a difference it is when you go from a v6 to a v8.
Well like th article said that I was reading. Sometimes its better to have a 300 rwhp car than a 500. Instead of adding that supercharger take a driving school to be able to handle your car better and understand the cars potential when being pushed.
