mustang vs supra....

ok so i have trhis guy in my shop with a 3rd gen supra with a 2jz engine running 20 #'s of boost and cut a 11.4 1/4 mile some time ago, he has been **** talking mustangs and his supra will smash this and that amd what ever i told him to just wait and see what will happen when i build my motor i have cams heads and 800 rwhp capable block in the works for the future, i was woundering what is you take on this, i already told him to not even brag cause bobby has a N/A stang that can run 10's with out a power adder and all he can come up with is blah blah blah i can get 25 mpg....that in my opion doesn't win a drag race....

btw he has a fully buit motor, heads, cams and the forged bottom end, what will win? even against even mods....?

Is this supra white? I would need to know more about his mods(turbo size, single twin...etc) and yours. Built supras are no joke epecially with a decent driver.

Give him a map to Barona and tell him to come try his luck. Dont worry, he wont show. I hand out cards and Barona maps all the time and nobody ever shows. It's not that they dont have nice cars....they dont know how to drive them on a track. Most **** talkers only know how to fly down a freeway and try to kill people.

If he does, and knows what he is doing you will have your hands full..staging a turbo car is a art form, if he can drive, you'd be owned. Ask him more about his supra like the details of the pass. Have you seen this car? Most car people I meet in the navy are a bunch of liars, get tech data on this thing!! He will probably quote Import tuner!! lol

Ever since I first experienced the tourque on a 4 speed 1968 Shelby in 1989 as a 15 year old, I was hooked on torque!!!

We all have our favorites. As a teen and young adult, I couldn't buy the cars I really wanted because of responsibilities. My first dream car I now own, the 1993 Cobra exactly as I wanted it.

The second car I have ALWAYS wanted to own, is a 1993 Toyota Turbo Supra. I'm still a Stang lover, but these cars are amazing machines, even stock. I hope this will become reality soon. My goal is to find a stock or slightly modded one, but I would have to dump a couple of cars. Oh well, they'll have to go :wink:

Talking Supras is like talking Terminators..the HP range varies so much it would be hard to tell. I remember this guy in Texas I raced when I had the eaton and 476rwtq and 481rwhp and I ate him up alive. Some are monsters but in stock form..they aint much but good luck finding a stock one.-Shane

heres the thing, his supra is not even here, it's in CO, so i doubt he will come down, and i know he would smash me the way the car is now but i told him i will happilly race him when we even the odds by 1. built motor to built motor, and 2. he stops **** talking bring his car down....oh and he has had the car down the 1/4 mile once....

he doesn't have a 2jz eric... he has the 7m he has the earlier generation of supra. Equally as potent just not raved about.

from the modifications he listed for me i honestly believe that guys has at least 500 hp. you could probably run him Really close just because 1: your suspention is setup better 2: you can out launch it

however he may beat you because the 7m is a TOP END MONSTER just like its replacement the 2jz

his 11.4 doesnt speak much. a lot of supras hae terrible traction issues. i've seen them run 12.xx at 130mph in the 1/4. but most likely, he's full of ****

i bet hes full of ****.....and i bet you would kill him at the track. if you cant drive with all that power, then you car will be slow. my buddy bought a 480RWHP mustang off our site last year and his best time at the Q is 9.4.....imagine that

9.4? Hell, even I can get a 9.2 on my GT with crap traction at the Q. I thought I was a bad driver....that makes me feel better now. LOL!

If this thing ran an 11.4 in CO, and he did bring it down to sea level you would be screwed...However I highly doubt he has one....smack him in his mouth for lying, if it goes to fisty cuffs so be it:boxing:, make us proud:rock:

last time I checked a white supra held the record for the Texas Mile. Said he was maxed out in 6th gear before half mile mark. Wanna say it was over 240.-Shane
