I am excited! Everyday is like christmas! I have been ordering parts (with the family CFO's approval of course) every day for two weeks.

I got installed as of this weekend....

JLT intake
Accufab 1600cfm Throttle body
New custom Cold Air with 12" filter
A few new suspension parts

Yet to be installed....

New M&H drag tires
Snow Stage 2 Methonal Injection

Dante is going to install the Snow kit and get a dyno tune for me on Wed.

Decided to spend some extra money and have some wheels air'd in this week American Muscle and get the M&H's mounted Thur or Friday.

All for the M vs W race this weekend.

Dante is pretty cool. He is helping me out getting it done fast and he also mentioned he is triying to get his truck done for the race.

He warned me that he might finish off my motor on the dyno (rod knock) and I told him that I won't blame him if it happens, but lets push this engine. I fully expect for the engine to blow this weekend, so I'm not holding back on it.

It will just be me and my 98 Cobra this weekend. All my other family bailed on me for the Shelby and Truck (my wife and my son) in the race. Guess I better have a towing company phone number with me just in case.

But I am excited to see what she does now in the 1/8.

Sounds great, Glen! I'm excited just hearing that it is up and running. Can't wait to see it this weekend, hopefully it makes it through this weekend. LOL!

if you expect it to blow it will do just fine....but if you ahve confidence in it...thats when it will blow

Haha! you got a point.

This is one tough car, it has been through a lot and still keeps going. I have trying to finish off this motor for two months. Even driving it on a lean tune and it just keep running stronger and stronger. It pulls like a freight train now. They say they run best right before they go.

I actually think it will make through the weekend or at least make it home under its own power. But that knock isn't getting any quieter.

LOL I love that fact that you know it is knocking and you are still going to run it. I just hope that when it goes you wont dump any oil on the track!!!!!!!!!

Shhhhhhhh....don't talk that way. You are going cause bad things to happen. Actually, just got the car back from dyno testing and it is running strong. Chances of it it going are slim.

The only reason I have made such a big deal about it blowing up at the track is that "Dante" is tuning it and he has a reputation and "if" something happened, I wanted it to be well known it is the engine, not him. It was the only way I could convince him to tune it for me.
