My girl is jealous of my new 08 Mustang v6

She is calling it my mid life crisis car! Call it what you want I need some advice. What tuner is the best and what cai is the best for an 08 mustang v6. I just got the car and want to make it breath easier. I have read what the diffrent companies say but they are BS to me unless there are hundreds of thousands of owners like me who say they can vouge for the product because they own a car with the product and are super stoked with it. Please help as I am currently leaning towards a K&N or Jtlt cai with a diablo sport or x3 tuner. What would YOU recommend???
 
I would stick with the SCT tuner. Tuners around the country are familiar with SCT; leads to a wider variety of tunes available and reduced tuning time.

I agree with MustangCWO. Go with the SCT tuner, more shops and tuners are using it and easier to get tunes for. As for the CAI K&N and JLT are both good. I believe JLT requires a tune after install and the K&N don't.
 
Thanks for the input guys. I received a K&NCAI from my wife for Xmas. I went with the K&N because it has the California Cert sticker on it. I will most definitely order the SCT tuner in the following weeks. After that I heard that Iridium plugs with performace wires and an exhaust will do the trick. Any suggestions of what brand or local North County shops?

K&N is a good choice to stay carb legal in Cali. My car passed smog with it.
