My v6

Well, this is going to be fairly lengthy, but there are before pics - build pics - and one or two finished pictures... I've got a video or two as well that I'll show on request..

Back then, was basically just a trunk thumper, I had a 75 shot of nitrous at the time as well..

That nitrous, did that, broke my #2 piston did some minor damage to my heads.. I was misfiring on cylinders 1,2, and 3.

So, my mechanis tore EVERYTHING out. I figured, if I'm going to do it, I'm going to make it a beast.

It sat like this, until SuperSixMotorsports sent me my stroker.

Scat 351 H beam rods, Wiseco fordged pistons, and a custom comp cam were installed, heads and intakes were ported out as well, and a 4.2l crank was installed also. Bored the block .20 over.

I also bought a built 8.8 moser 31 spline axles, ford racing 31 spline posi, 4.10 gears.

I also had the 4r70w transmission built. Custom converter, 2800 stall, 3rd gear lengthend out, heavily modified valve body.

Thanks, its fun.. I'd either like a direct port setup, or a turbo kit for next year and push for low 11s or high 10s..after that, I'll be done with this car..

Future project will probably be another new edge, most likely a GT..

Stroked, built, and a turbo.. will hope for 9s or 8s with that..

Because it was something different and I don't look to be the quickest out there, I look for something unique, that not everyone has..

I know tons of guys in town with heavily modified v8s from my engine builders, who run 600 cubic inch motors on alcohol and 400+ cubic in motors on race fuel and throw nitrous at it..

To my buddies who run vortechs hellion turbos and kenne bells...

But I never came across a guy in Bakersfield who had a v6 that'd run hard and close to the guys with modded v8s. Now theres two of us, myself, and my buddy running a vortech'd 4.0 (s197, running 11.90s)

When I build a v8, it'll be my race car, I'll look to license in it, and just have it purely for the track.

I do like the turbo kits, however, I was thinking about putting the windstar intake on it, and running a direct port, I haven't seen anyones #s on a direct port on a v6, I think it has the potential to run 10s with it...

No one that I have spoken to has given me a straight answer as to how much nitrous I can throw at this car.. If I can run a 225 - 230 shot, even two staged on a direct port..I believe it will see 10s, or very close.

Wow, thats a lot. Better do some majjor fuel upgrades. Im almost at my max with my fuel set up with a 150 shot.

My pump and injectors are upgraded already, the only thing I'd have to do is up the injectors a little more possibly.

For all of you "V8 or nothing people" out there, Super Six is a no sh!t Sixer dream house. They made the first Sixer to run in the 10's

Couple of pictures of my builders cars..

My buddies foxbody, was running in the 8s, blew the motor.. hes got another motor hes building to run 9s until his dartblock is finished...

After the dart block is finished, it should run 7s..

His dads Cobra II, 598 Cubic Inches, runs off alcohol. Setup currently to run "B" gas, 8.60 index.. his best however was 8.2x

Both were built in-house no controllers for a launch ect..
