so, im getting a new car everyone. the fox is officially down to be a project only. no more "i drive my racecar to work" crap. its down and awaiting a big block and spray. i had planned on getting VP's old cobra, but that guy never answered his phone, and now i see that its sold....so, time to look elsewhere. so, on the list right now for daily driver right now are

infinity G35 sedan
acura TL
'10 Ford Fusion
BMW 3 series
Merc c class

anyone know anything good or bad about these cars, or anymore in that range to look at. any input would be great.

What year on the Acura TL? I had a 2001 and loved it and they have improved on them every year since. It is reliable, good get up and go power. Definitely comfortable. Good bang for your bucks on the TL.

cant afford an M3......so thats out. the tl's are not cheap either, but very nice. i like the LS's but my wife thinks they need an oxygen tank in the center consol (old people car)...i know, i know.....weird. but i am definately leanin towards a G35 sedan. trying to keep it under 20, but i dont want more than 40k on the clock either. we will see. i wanted that damn cobra...but NO...hadda sell it. lol

There are killer deals on Mustangs everywhere you look. I be in a months time you could find exactly what you want even if you had to have it shipped to you like I did on my Mach.-Shane

I love the new fusions, but im pretty sure they go for over 20. My moms 2007 fusion is still really nice though.

a loaded fusion is like 30k. its a little further than i want, but they are nice. we will see if i get a good deal. i dont want another mustang unless it is really special. no BS bolt on GT's and stuff. not that those cars arent great, but i have a project that i want to spend money on already, i dont need another. plus, everyone here in NC has a new edge GT with cobra replicas and exhaust. nothing else. its gettin kinda old. i havent seen a termy or gt500 since ive been here, or a car with actual work done to it. and most of all are the number or mach1's i see. there are 7 for sale in a 2 mile radius of base.

Focus? Used five hundred? Can you tell I bleed blue? Unfortunately Ford doesnt make a 4 cylinder DD that can also be fast and look cool like the infinti you mentioned or the BMW.

i will not drive a focus.....just cant. and the 500 is nice, but there are nicer. i love mustangs, but outside of that ford doesnt make too many vehicles that appeal to me. i love the fusion and sho, but might be a little more than i can afford, but the cars in my price range are not what i want. chevy doesnt offer one either. and dodge...man, if i see another non srt charger or 300 on the road i am gonna shoot. crappy ass r/t's and c hemis cloging up the roads. they are big, and slow and fast becomming the new "mustang" for the military.

I looked at one yesterday and it was like 46K....... no chance in hell.

Look at a couple year old Fusion sport....they are decently priced and good cars.....

GTO....no, i would like 4 doors......plus the way those things are driven, who knows. and the genessis is awesome, but those are about 35 new. still a little high. not making any decisions yet. gonna take awhile. im getting the mustang put back together. if i have to drive it 2 days a week to work for a mnth or two, thats fine....doesnt bother me. just dont want to rush into anything
