<div>Colin Comer is a young guy whose specialty is muscle cars. You’d never guess this, since he was born during the advent of low-compression engines and unleaded fuel. That’s not a disadvantage in any way, since he runs Colin’s Classic Cars out of Milwaukee, WI. Due to his experience and his acumen for facts, he was a natural to write <i>The Complete Book of Shelby Automobiles: Cobras, Mustangs and Super Snakes</i>.<br />

Of course, Carroll Shelby is a familiar personality to all kinds of car nuts, but not everyone knows about his pre-Ford racing history, his retirement, and how Shelby American created the first Cobra in 1962. Combining the British AC Ace with Ford’s 260 cid V-8 (a hybrid, but <i>another</i> kind of hybrid), a legend was born - and was to become even more legendary in the ensuing years. Fast-forward to today, and we have Carroll & Co. (Ford, really) building the <a href="http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/mustang/" target="_blank">750 horsepower Shelby-Mustang Super Snake</a>. All of that and everything else in between is contained in this complete history about this great man with the Texas drawl and the cars that he built.<br />
