the dash is cracked.. so that tels me the interior is probably pretty ****ed up since there is no pic.. the car has been repainted so hopefully the interior isnt porno red!

Sorry but im tired of my auto. 10.01 (at the Q, before my 3.73s) is way to slow. Wont buy another performance car with an auto again unless I get old and lazy.

So you think putting a standard in your car would make you faster? I was 7.5 in my auto...not slow for a heavy 02GT with a heavy stereo set-up. Just depends on what the car is for..auto for the track, standard for the road or standard for strip/street. Wasn't your auto making you slow..how much power did you have behind it? I would bet if you did a straight up swap..you would be slower with the standard. But an auto is great with the right stall and gears! -Shane

My car has basic bolts on and full exhaust. Cant footbrake past I think its 800 rpm with a stock aod. T-5 you can take off at where you want. Would make a huge difference in time. I know a built auto would be faster but I am not looking to have an all out drag car. I care about the street and occasional strip.

Makes sense, my 02 GT had a procharger with a Lintech tranny, 4.10 gears with a 2800 stall and every other minor-bolt on so it was a fun car. Was making around 400 to the wheels and was a fun car at the track but around town it was just ok and a standard would have been much more fun. -Shane
And I would say you definately upgraded with your 2 5 speed, well 1 6 speed, stangs. Cant wait to see the comp orange again!
