No Spark

Well, went to leave Barona yesterday and the old Fox would not fire. I checked fuel pressure first...all good 40psi on the gauge. Then I checked for spark and NOTHING.

1) Swapped coils and no spark
2) Changed out ignition control module (TFI) no spark

Anyone have any ideas. I haven't put the multimeter on it yet. Have to get it home first.

CWO did you check the wires..? You check the coil not the problem, you check the TFI and still not the problem.. I would say the distributor next... Unless you fried a wire inbetween...

I just visually checked most of the wires and they look good. Still need to take a meter to them. I'm going to try and push start the car and see if it's just in the initial ignition. that will narrow things.

if your getting 0 spark. its going to be a obvious problem that needs to have something in common with all 8 cylinders. iether your coil is grounding out and discharging to the body or whatever controls your timing has failed. if it was spark plugs wires i highly doubt all 8 would fail at the same time.
