not pulling codes?

I have this code reader

and when i hook it up in my car to do the KOER diagnosis test it doesnt do anything.. it pulls code on the KOEO test... I'm wondering if the NOS engine harness might have the pins on the Datalink connector might be in the wrong spot? or is it more likely the ECU is bad and not communicating with the code reader??

That is wierd.....Have you tried the code reader on any other Mustangs?

no other mustang but i did try it on my buddys 87 ford f250 and it worked fine

I would think that if your computer was bad then the car would not run.......

I think what I'm going to do, is try to retrieve the codes the old fashion way... with a analog voltmeter.
