As far as installation, how hard is it to get in and out of the car? How much welding is involved, and is there a way to just bolt it on?

Most kits dont require welding, but its recommended. Its not difficult to take it off and on (im assuming for smog?). Jack it up, take off some bolts and slide it back. Easy day.

Unless your exhaust system has been custom modified, they're pretty much all bolt on without welding required. Fairly simple. Even easier with a lift. Emilio and I replaced his within an hour or so, and that was including the BS'ing and name calling :D

Its usually the four bolts attaching it to the headers, two clamps on the other end, and removing the O2 sensors from the old to the new, which is only a few turns of a wrench.

That's what I was hoping! And yeah, for smog... So maybe i'll be getting an x-pipe pretty soon.
