hey guys, havent been on in awhile because the movers packed my comp. but here in the hotel i got wifi and i thought i would update you. we left SD yesterday morning at about 1030 and everything was great, but comming down the mountains braked faded out and we had to stop. then just this side of yuma we got a flat tire in the trailer. roadside assistance brought out the wrong rim and tire 3 hours later, so we drug it to a border patrol check point and dropped off the trailer and went 30 mins into yuma to get the tire fixed, then all the way back. in the end it took us 11 hours to make a 6 hour trip to tuscon. but here we are. hopefully today wont be as exciting. were hopin for dallas tonight. 14hrs away

Have a fun drive and try not to push it man. I have done that trip quite a few times and no matter how hard you try the thoughts of just getting there and being done with the driving tend to over ride your senses and make you wanna drive that extra 100 or so miles. That is when bad things happen. Just use your smarts and be safe. Also take extra care when passing over bridges that are high over canyons and such because the winds can move ya something fierce.
