All, I understand completely how some were disappointed with this. This is what I believe happened. Ernie approached us first, Erine wanted to talk man to man, and 1st thing out is mouth was he wanted no animosity with Wicked Stangs. I told him we are not here to have drama and did not want any beef with them. I know we thru a wrench and took a measly photo with them to show them we are true to our word. Some of our members got hurt about the situation. Sorry, I can't please everyone. This doesn't mean we are going to hang out now... Or specifically invite them to our events.

This is the way I see it. We live in Cali/West Coast/ Thug anyway you see it. I understand the life style some of these guys live. If we continue the BS on the site about other clubs, I can see it now I was at the Movies and my car was keyed, I went to eat and my car got broken into and so on. I assure all that does not bother me as I keep my car garaged 24/7. What does bother me is I don't want to see this happening to you and our members you can tell we are WS members because we have banners on our cars.

You guys as board members need to back me up.. This was not put out to everyone. This is just to inform you of what can happen if your caught slipping.

E, whatever man, it was a photo. It definately showed 3 different styles of cars.....

Anyway, whatever you want that is good by me. I have no beef with Ernie at all, in fact the few times I have spoke with him, he has been nothing but polite. He also had a really good quote on some paint work.

They have some issues with other people in their club going out and starting ****. That is how they got the bad image. If lets just say CWO goes out and adds lambo doors and a trick paintjob, then starts chanting, that would be totally normal right.....LOL J/K That is how the rest of the club would be viewed......

I dont like what alot of them have done to their cars, but........thats what makes these cars sooo great.....DO WHAT YOU WANT and enjoy them. Their opinion is different than mine that is all.

I dont have an opinion either way. All I know is this:

I they act like thugs: I'll continue to beat them down.
They screw with my car: I'll physically mame them.
They say something to a WickedStangs member and I hear it: I'll embarass them.
They keep up with their current standing in the community: I'll change my mind about making amends.

It's not up to us, WickedStangs, to make amends. It's up to Stangpede to get on the right track and become a part of the San Diego Mustang Scene. If not, the rest of the car clubs will just move on without them. No sweat off my ball sack!!

Sure will, have nothing to hide.. Well as some of you do not know Stangpede approached a member of SoCal Stangs at the last Knott's berry farm show and attacked him by choking him out. Instead of going to the police he went on every forum in the mustang community to slender them and that is how everyone is against Stangpede car club.

Ernie today told me that he is shying away from the car club seen and is concentrating more on Hard Core Mustang now called Hard Core Muscle because he want to tailor all makes. He says that today's economy is not effecting him in anyway because they are opening another shop in Vegas. He also say that every member that I send to his shop he will give me / our club $certain amount of dollars. He is having a dyno tuning installed in the next week and is moving up fast. He now has 2 2010 beening delievered this week for his custom kit and tuning... He says we have a chance to join him.. He also says that he would love to give our club a tour of his shop.. Basically he says that he is going one way with the Stangpede and WS going a different route. He says but, we still share the same love Mustangs. Thats it..

How bout doing some free dyno tuning on the racecar to patch things up....Shop tour would be nice, would like to see their paint room!

That was not the only issue with stangpede.....Knotts last year was not it. There was more, but I will leave it there.....I have heard some of the horror stories.

Ugh, when will you people ever learn?

You accept anything like free dyno tuning from them, you are bought and paid for. They dangle the bait and you take it. Don't do it.

Todd is absolutely correct. It is not OUR job to make all kissy-face with these people when it is they who are on the wrong track.

So we have a common like----Mustangs. That is by no means ANY reason to associate with this breed of people.

Like Osama Bin Laden, I like to eat, sleep and speak my mind. Just because I have that in common with him does NOT make me a terrorist and nor does it mean I should associate with him.

I may have a love for Mustangs in common with them but that is all I will EVER have.

The best thing we can do is stand back and wait and let THEM make the next move. THEY, not us, need to prove they're worthy of OUR attention and friendship. Not the other way around.

We didn't create Stang-peed nor do we have anything to do with the formation of their reputation. They did that all on their own.

And they will have to repair it.....ON THEIR OWN!

I for one will not have anything to do with this clan until they have twice as much GOOD reputation as they have of a bad one now.

It takes a lot more to convince me to extend a hand to people like this than most of you.

My answer: No not at all. I know people that have but I have not been affected. Maybe my eyesight has suffered....LOL


I agree their rep is theirs to fix, but isnt that what he is trying to do?

You're asking in the moderator forum where you will only get answers from a very few people. I have told my story(s) several times at several different gatherings.

I have been lied to, misled, almost taken advantage of and all because they wanted to make a fast buck.

They tried to sell me a one-piece drive shaft promising it would fit my GT automatic when in fact it wouldn't. Some of you may have remembered that I posted their Craigslist ad for ONE PIECE driveshafts. Had I not done my homework and actually called Saleen (since that's what they came off of) I would have bought a five foot paperweight.

BTW: What do you think of CPR street Machines? Well they did sell me an inferior part for my classic. It happens. I think we all will agree they are good. Just had a bad part and not alot of knowledge of it. It happens to NPD and Year One too.

I'll do whatever you feel is right, Emilio. But I won't go out of my way to associate with them. There are just too many potential problems with them and it can drag us down in the public. Look at what they were doing in the parking lot. Doing donuts and racing around like idiots. It may be "relatively" empty but I almost got hit by two of them as I was driving back to the trailer because they wanted to see how fast they can go.
So, I will support your decision, but I will also point out to you when it is time to distance ourselves from them. I will watch to see what directions they are going but I do not recommend us sending customers their way. In my conspiracy theory thinking, I'm thinking Ernie is trying to get a bigger piece of the pie for his business (which I don't blame him) but his timing is a little suspicious to me. But anyways, that's just my thoughts and I will support your decisions.
