Powder Coat my wheels black?

Iv been really thinking about blacking out the mach1. I'm gonna get some dark headlights, and tint the rears, but I think the chrome should go and get replaced by some Matt Black powder coat.

The mach already has matt black stripes and such, so i think it might look good. Let me know what yall think!


Oh and the chrome on the wheels is starting to look crappy, and Its hard to keep things polished/waxed being in the navy and well....

the way your car is set up it's gonna match good with the side stripes,hood and headlights and taillights.i had a similar look where i had my rims match the body.Just be sure that u want to paint your rims cus chrome always stands out and u can't go bak...but if u got tired of chromes,it's gonna look great blak powder coated!!! id say go for it man it's gonna look bad ash!!

That would look very nice. But I suggest leaving the lip chrome. Here's a pic of mine to give you an idea what it might look like. My car is set up somewhat similar to your's in appearance.

That gives it a meaner, meatier look. Also looks good.

That does look killer! But SN197 wheels wont fit on the mach. That and i love the mach1 style...i just want em BLACK!

Thats what i was thinking! I think im gonna black the whole thing out. A Matt black or flat black i think would look nice:rock:

Agree with Danny...lip looks better. Love my FR500s just the way they are with the lip on my cars. -Shane

Personally, I like the chrome/ polished lip... But its your car and only you know the statement you want to make. I'm sure it will look great either way. make it your own.
