Well the project has been ongoing....slowly but still going. As I speak I have a framerail clamped into place and measurements are being taken to verify the correct location to weld it in.......
I have run into a problem though. Instead of being stationed back on the east coast, I am most likely going to be going the other direction out to Hawaii. DDG 93 USS Chung Hoon is a good bet according to my detailer. Well there will be no project going with me to Hawaii. Just my 07 GT. With that, I am going to continue to put effort into this car for now. Upon orders being written to Hawaii, I will be breaking all ties by selling off every part I can that is worth anything. The original fenders and doors should bring ok money. Along with windshield, back window, and some of the other stuff on it. The body itself will then be sold to highest bidder or the junkyard whichever will bring in more money before moving......
This weekend I plan to align the rear framerail and weld it in.
I just hate that a year ago it was cheaper to ship mine out here and buy the parts to repair it....now it is cheaper to buy it already fixed......
Well we shall see if I can do anything with this before April......
