S197 SGT-H hood

After much deliberation, I have decided to sell the Hertz hood that is on my car. It has the opening in the front of the reverse scoop cut open allowing heat extraction. This hood will need repainted. It has 2 cracks in the paint along the reverse scoop hood lines. The underside will need finished however you decide, I was going to rhino line it after sanding it smooth. This hood had alot of repair work done to it by BumperMedic and really looks good on an S197. It was cracked at one time but again those were repaired. The underside is already cut out to allow for a Whipple supercharger setup. This will include the hood pins, the radiator cover, and radiator supports that have the hood pins on them. This hood retails new for around $750.00 from Shelby. I have yet to see another one on any S197 in SoCal. It will definately set your car apart from everyone else. The hood does not have washer nozzles on it. They can be added if you choose or relocate them with a relocation kit from American Muscle. This hood has a little cowling to it about 1 inch. Again price is $200.00 local pickup unless you want to pay the shipping on it. PM me if interested.

Someone has said that if it is still here next month they will buy it. I am not holding it for anyone though. First to buy it is first to buy it. Thanks.

If I still have it when you are ready to buy, it is yours.....I wasnt implying that you were suggesting that I hold it for you. I was just putting that out there....last time I held something.....oh yeah I still have it....didnt work out well for me. I missed 3 sales on it and still have the item.

No pic of the underside, it needs finished and was cut for a WHipple to fit under it.

The cracks are only in the paint......they need fixed. The painter laid the paint too thick and then in the sun it ended up cracking.

One more question, Did you happen to get a quote on repairs needed? Or:pics:might help. Pretty much what it's going to come down to! Since my boss is involved now... Only Supercharger used would be the new E-Force...

I didnt get a quote as it was painted by the guy and is warranteed for me. If it was perfect this $750.00 hood would not be for sale for $200.00...... It would be much more. The price accounts for the buyer having to have it repainted. I dont know what the E force is shaped like but the Whippled car it was on before had the intake to the driver side of the car, so the underside of the hood is set up for the S/C and intake to go to that side.
