shaved door handles

im thinking ima get my handles shaved off b4 paint where can i get a pop kit for my stang

dont do it, had them on my z28, total pain in the ass. solenoid dies, door doesnt open, battery dies, door doesnt open, doors start to sag, which if your car is older than 5 years they do, door doesnt open right. seriously skip that mod.

I don't know for sure - but the first thing I would od is go to a good body shop that does custom rods and such. They would have a good idea where to start for shaving your d-hanldes.

he does havea point on the malfunctioning aspect of it but it is up to you if you do it. if you do it you will not be able to drag race shaved door handles=instant DQ at teck. if your just going to show it and not make it go then go for it

I once thought of going with shaved door-handles, but like others said, it's a big PIA. I have also read that many tracks will not let you drag race if you have shaved door handles.
