Hey guys,

Just home from the mile and had to find a photo of me on fire, yes thats me on fire in my buddys car! Looks f'in awesome doesn't it!

Heres the story, I didnt know I was on fire, I never had any power loss but 5th gear started feeling quite slow at the 3/4 mile mark but I thought it was just the new whipple at the top end! No mirriros on the side so I didnt see anything, in fact I drove all the way back to the timing booth and only seen a problem when I seen all the emergency vehicles driving towards me in a panic lol! Seriously the car stil starts first time and sounds great, a little oily though!

The hood on a GT500 comes up like that at anything over 120 mph, theres nothing wrong with the brakes on the car, the engine didnt blow up, cars getting stripped tomorrow but most likely a hose or the bottom end. Either way thats the second time we have had a stock engine go at 23/24psi.

Last March I made 197.3mph on a 22lb pully and a stock engine but 23 is just too much. I passed the line at 177mph in that photo.

PS, the owner wanted to stengthen the engine anyway so its just happening sooner rather than l ater
