<div>2010 is here and we’re all looking forward to see what new rides we’ll find on the 1320 in the upcoming months. Well, luckily for us we are receiving yet another sneak preview into Bill Robaey’s Outlaw 8.5/275 drag radial Mustang buildup.<br />

With some luck Bill hopes to get this car finished in time for the Cecil County Dragway Street Car Shootout series and hopes to see what he can get done with the small block on the little 275’s. Well this small block will be in the denomination of 363 cubic inches packed inside of a <a href="http://www.dartheads.com/" target="_blank">DART</a> engine block that is destined to be topped off with a set of <a href="http://www.trickflow.com/emain.asp" target="_blank">Trickflow</a> cylinder heads. Reversing the common “No replacement for displacement” saying will be an F1R <a href="http://www.procharger.com/" target="_blank">Procharger</a> that is capable of producing power in the 1200+ range easily. Bill will also be removing all the fuel injection components in favor of a <a href="http://www.csucarbs.com/" target="_blank">CSU</a> Blow Thru carburetor. <br />

Other necessities to support such horsepower numbers include an <a href="http://aeromotiveinc.com/" target="_blank">Aeromotive</a> Belt-driven fuel pump and a <a href="http://www.meziere.com/" target="_blank">Meziere</a> remote-mount water pump that was selected to free up space in the supercharger area. All of this power will have to breathe through a set of Burns stainless steel mufflers per class rules. The stock spoiler currently residing on the car’s decklid is planned to be replaced by a sheet metal wing from Team Z Motorsports.<br />

There is still a ways to go with this project but word is that the engine has been completed and the ball is really rolling now. We wish Bill the best of luck in 2010 and we can’t wait to see this pony put down some wild low 8-second passes!<br />
