are you off for the black friday sale, the day after. LMAO Every skips thanksgiving it seams like. After halloween, all you see is christmas stuff out. I remember when you didnt see christmas stuff till the friday after thanksgiving. Its here already, and youll still see prrocrastinators waiting till the 23rd or 24th to do shopping.

Welcome to this line of work. Get use to it. You will be working all the holidays until you get more senior when you will have it off. I think there was a period of about 7 years I worked all the holidays. Look on the bright side. The holiday pay will make up for some.

It's only 5 hours on thursday... lol.
And it just happens to be that my shift is on.... The shift that I chose!
exactly my watch starts at 0645 and ends 1845 not to count the 20 min drive to and 20 min home plus waking up an hour early to get ready so cry me a river lol

Mine starts at 1700 and goes until 2200!
no gonna go to bed then in the morning fly to germany for the weekend and have thanksgiving with them
by the tim ei get home 8 and start cooking lol forget it just wait till im with the fam and friends in Glnd
Well I appreciate you working in case one of my family members has an accident or something happens. Im sure some of us military guys will have duty.

All I can complain about is having duty two days in a row because of Thanksgiving. I do get to go home the morning of TG just to sleep the day away because of it.
