Move the Stall Funds to the Brake Funds

All, Todd and I sold most the parts from the Race Car to raise money for the Major Three items we need for the Race Car.

1. Stall Converter 300.00 raised...
2. Brakes
3. Shifter...


With all the parts sold the profit went to the Stall Converter.


We need your Vote to move the Money to the Brakes...
Remember we need these brakes to get the car back out to the Track... There are two types of brakes that will work with the new AJE Racing Suspension that is the Aerospace and Wilwood brakes. The Aerospace is the cheapest right now at $550.

It will be nice to have a Stall Converter but, without Brakes we will never get the car back at the track...

So please post your vote...

Do whatever. If you need something for the car and got the cash.........get it. If you didnt get the brakes with this cash, you would need more donations anyway....so go ahead and do it. If the car isnt on the track, it defeats the point right? I think that answers the poll question.


And Emilio, no buying something for the 500 with it..... I trust CWO but you are a little shady.....like the mafia and stuff.....LOL

Converter would make it faster, but what good is that if it cant go to the track?

My vote (even tho i have not donated to the converter funds) is for the Brakes!

Just curious, has anyone called AJE and told them of our dilemma? Their donation however great is actually costing the club money. Maybe they have another option, different spindles or maybe they will go as far as to donate the brakes as well? At this point it would be cheaper to buy a different coil over kit that would allow the use of the stock brakes. Where are our other sponsors? They need to step up. Where is JBA?

Has anyone called Rev Max Performance Converters to see if they will sponsor the car and donate a converter? Edge Racing?

The club needs more sponsors not more donations.

No, I think that the money that we put towards one thing, should be put towards that thing. Not toward something completely different. Get the stall converter, then worry about brakes.

One question....What's the use of a stall converter when you don't have any brakes to stop the car or better yet, put the wheels back on the car?

Guys, the brakes have been ordered and the upgraded system will be a long term component of the car....just like the AJE suspension. As far as sponsors go, finding new contributors for required parts has been challenging. I'll be on the phone every day when I return in mid October in an attempt to get a stall. In the mean time, we will be working a few ideas to raise some money to continue progress on the car.
