The StangSuspension.com street upper 3rd link or "control arm" is designed to keep your axle under control under street and even mild racing conditions. Your stock 3rd link flexes and twists under engine torque and power. Our street third link has urethane bushings to help prevent deflection caused by the weak factory upper 3rd link, which uses soft rubber bushings. Our control arm has an exclusive 3 piece "Poly?Ball" bushing which allows the control arm to still articulate, but keeps the axle under control. Most other aftermarket arms use a solid or two piece urethane bushing which can cause binding issues.
