So, I decided to keep my V6 and add a stroker kit to it, either a 4.2 or a 4.3L kit. It should add about 100hp to my car. So as soon as I sell my Lexus I will be looking into it. I will most likely be doing it through Tom Morana Racing. He's been doing this stuff for quite some time. Well, it should be awesome. Plus, I will be working this summer so I will be able to buy a lot more upgrades. I should be good to go by our next yearly cruise. Muahahahaha. :cool: :bc:

Oh, and out of these options, what do you think?

4.2L Stroker Kit consists of-
forged Diamond pistons, performance piston rings, forged Scat H-beam connecting rods, Clevite or SpeedPro bearings, cast steel crankshaft, fully balanced- $2,000. US. funds

4.2L Stroker short block- incl. all above 4.2 Stroker components plus, block(bored & honed)double rolling timing chain, performance camshaft(your choice) assembled- $3,700. US. funds

4.2L Stroker long block or complete also available-prices depending on your choice of head stage.

4.3L Stroker Kit, consists of-
cast steel crankshaft, forged connecting rods, hypereutectic pistons(forged avail)performance piston rings, Clevite or SpeedPro bearings, balanced- $2,350. US. funds

4.3L Stroker short block- incl. all the above 4.3 Stroker components plus, block(bored, honed)double rolling timing chain, performance camshaft(your choice) assembled- $3,500. US. funds

4.3L Stroker long block includes- all the above plus,heads(match porting, 3 angle valve job, custom head stages avail)FelPro gaskets,roller lifters, hardened pushrods, roller rockers, balanced & assembled- $4,500. US. funds

4.3L Complete Stroker engine includes- all the above plus, timing cover, intake manifold(match porting) and oil pan- $5,300. US. funds

buy a stock sohc 4.0, better motor and makes more hp than most of those V6 kits without forced induction

Thats what i was looking at doing before i bought my Mach, Tom is a good guy, but wow can he talk on the phone, i called to ask a couple questions about 1 of his stroker kits, and it turned into a 1 1/2 hour conversation

Haha, really? I think I am going to upgrade my exhaust first though, no reason to upgrade my engine if it won't be able to breath. Know where I can get a good set of long tube headers and high flow x-pipes?
