Toaster, not sure what you mean by arm-and-a-leg. But I had mine done by a great company that warranties their work. After sanding, many layers of paint, then layers of clear coat, it took them 1 day to do it. But, we might be talking about the arm-and-a-leg place! LOL PM me if you still need the info.

Depends on what you want...

I did my own as an experiment kinda like Shane's...
*hafta get a picture later...

GoBBgo runs a body shop and could get one of her guys to paint it for you I would think...probably only cost a few fingers....

What color do you want to paint it? I have an extra pony and will paint it and if you like it just pay for the paint if not...I got paint! LOL

the pony on yalls car is much easier to paint than hers would be as hers is the tyle with the chrome oval around it and full grill.

bd mach,,,, what did you use?? to get that affect??

""i wanna do mine up with night shade or somethin!!""

Again, it depends on the color / quality you want. You can get 90+% there with just masking tape & newspaper. Otherwise, the pony does come off the grille...you just have to remove the radiator cover to get to it.

btw - I love the look of the pony-pack grilles....

a red pony would set it off as unique. but as bd mach said to remove the pony we would ahve to move your radiator to get to it... not something i wish to do myself
