tailights question

My taillights started to dent in,does anyone know why this happened,anyone had the same problem

i had them smoked,i took them off already and put stock ones again,i was just affraid this might happen again..so is that the reason,and why does that happen?

Well, I am thinking that if they are dark enough, and you park your car outside, the heat will soften the plastic up and cause it to start caving in. Atleast that's what I think.

No they do it cause when you tint the lights they retain heat from the bulb. I bet you noticed it after driving at night for a few hours huh. Mine on the Cobra did it as well. Not much you can do about it but they normally dont go any farther so I would put em back on.

thats what i though,but since i have no cats i thought the smoke was heating the lights,or maybe because it was too loud,the rattling was causing this

yea that was the problem then,i saw it on your car on one of the meeting,not sure if it was your cobra but i saw the same thing on the lights

Yeah. It sucks but not much you can do about it and after you notice it you will always see it lol. I just kept mine on there.

Yeah there are more than a few of us here that always chime in to help man. That is what we are here for. We probably have hundreds of years of experiance tooling on cars between us lol.
