so......last Friday I landed in Houston. Saturday and Sunday was in Dallas enjoying thunderstorms.
I left Dallas at 8pm Sunday night, arrive to Houston at 2am and we were all up joking and laughing. We all agreed....who needs sleep at this point? So we left Houston at 3am to Laredo Texas!
We arrived in Laredo at 10am (and two 5-Hour Energy drinks later). I napped til 2pm then had an amazing lunch. Best Tex-Mex food I've ever had. Showered, changed then ended up in Mexicos drug voilence capitol....Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Not to mention the high 90's and low 100's temps with 96% humidity!
I was SCARED!!! That place is BAD. You can smell death in the air and people walk around in high alert and suspect of everyone!
What a relief when I saw the border! Anyway, we left Laredo TX this afternoon and I'm back in Houston. We leave for San Deigo Thursday morning.
